Celeste Mountain Lodge is situated in the pristine surroundings of Volcan Tenorio. This lodge is tucked away from the prying tourist eyes, while still being conveniently close to most attractions in the region. Surrounded by a lush primary tropical rainforest and the abundant Volcan Tenorio National Park, this lodge offers all the modern facilities and amenities. While staying at this lodge, you will experience eco tourism and authentic Costa Rican hospitality. The surrounding area of the lodge is virtually untouched and the lodge is constructed according to bio-climatic specifications. The lodge overlooks the amazing views of the Tenorio and Miravalles volcanoes.

Accommodation:

Celeste Mountain Lodge offers 18 well-appointed rooms that are divided into a couple floors. Each of the rooms are featured with all the necessary facilities such as private bathrooms with hot water facility. These rooms are well decorated with eco-friendly furnishing such as nightstand-lamps. These rooms are featured with and feature a wash basin, hairdryer, hot shower and toilet, cloth-hanging space and shelving. These rooms overlook amazing beauty of the surrounding area. Each of the elegantly designed room is perfect for accommodating about a maximum of 4 people. There are also some specially designed rooms perfect for the guests with physical disabilities.

Activities:

While staying at the Celeste Mountain Lodge, you will get opportunity to enjoy several excursions and tours offered by the lodge. You can go for an hour and half of hiking along the verdant ravines and at the time of hiking you will enjoy watching different species of birds, butterflies, monkeys and indigenous trees. Bijagua area is also perfect for enjoying hiking. You can also take a trip to Rio Celeste or National Park Volcan Tenorio and there can enjoy an amazing stunning blue lagoon and hot spring bath at the end of the trail. Horseback riding is another enjoyable activity that will allow you to explore the beauty of the surrounding area. If you are fond of water activities, you can go for water rafting on the Rio Tenorio but if you are not courageous enough then you can seek the vacation ‘nirvana’ by floating on the unruffled Corobici River. You can also go for a boat ride and find out spectacular river, lagoons and conservation area of the National Fauna to enjoy the ride.

Cuisine:

While staying at Celeste Mountain Lodge you will get 3 meals in your rates. Here you will have Tico Fusion Cuisine and all the meals are prepared with the local ingredients and flavors with its own touch. In each meal you will have a fixed menu and if you stay several days, you will get unique dishes each time. This hotel also can serve special diets upon previous notice. You can enjoy the lunch at the Lodge or if you have any plan to go outside, you can take a delicious 100% eco-box lunch.
