Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge is situated on the most southern part of the Osa Peninsula. Nestled on its own private bay, it is a 165-acre private preserve. This location is amazingly unique, pristine, private and one of the most biologically diverse places on the earth. This region contains Central America’s largest remaining Pacific Coast Rainforest and home to a variety of rare and endangered animals such as wild cats, the Harpy Eagle and Scarlet Macaw. Right out in front of the lodge you will find Golfo Dulce that is a critical habitat for migrating Pacific Humpback Whales and also home to the migratory communities of dolphins and sea turtles. You can reach the lodge only by boat across the pristine waters of the Golfo Dulce from either the southern towns of Golfito or Puerto Jimenez. When you will reach the lodge, you will get a heavenly feeling while entering the tropical paradise full of adventure and peace.

Accommodation:

Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge provides comfortable and well-appointed individual bungalows that are tucked privately into the rainforest. There are also spacious rooms in the two-story Mango Guesthouse. Each of the accommodations have private terraces or balconies that overlook amazing surrounding view. This lodge make the guests feel the connection and harmony with the nature. This lodge is constructed with eco-friendly materials such as naturally fallen trees and recycled materials. For the electricity, it uses solar energy and candles are always utilized throughout the lodge grounds to preserve the natural feeling. It provides natural spring water.

Mango Guest House:

Nestled in a beautiful jungle garden area with mango trees, it is a two store accommodation including four private rooms. These rooms overlooks amazing views of the surrounding rainforest. All rooms have private entrance and featured with hardwood floors, private terrace, private bathroom, louver doors and windows that are wrap around the room and offers panoramic views. These rooms are featured with queen beds (or twin beds upon request) with mosquito netting and ceiling fans. Set apart from the main lodge, this mango house is ideal for all types of travelers. If you visit this place with a group of friends or family, you will find this house perfect. This house also have room that ensures you enjoy privacy and this include private bathroom.

One Bedroom Cabin:

Tucked into the rainforest and nestled apart from other accommodations, this cabin is very private. This well decorated cabin will make you feel more closer to the nature and enjoy a comfortable simple living. Each cabin features a private entrance, private open air shower-bathroom, private terrace, louver doors and windows and als has beautiful hardwood floors. This cabin overlooks amazing panoramic views. Within the cabin’s bathroom there is garden open air shower that will allow you to enjoy bath at the natural setting and at the same time watching the amazing nature all around.

You can also choose from Cabin suite, the Bedroom Cabin, Jaguar House and enjoy a comfortable stay with all the necessary facilities and amenities.

Dining:

While staying at the Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge, you will enjoy three exceptional meals prepared daily by experienced chefs with an emphasis on fresh fish, tropical fruits and local cuisine. In the jungle canopy where the main lodge set up, you will find the restaurant perfect place for enjoying dine by candlelight and also can enjoy different types of drinks. At the time of taking your food you will also enjoy watching amazing sea and forest view. For ultimate relaxation and star gazing, hammocks are also provided.

At this lodge yoga classes are specifically designed by the host teacher of the month based on their training, certification and yogic influence.
